Let's Go to The Zoo - Or Ride Past it Anyway

UPDATE- CHANGE IN MEET UP STARTING POINT

As Motoretta Eurosport is closed on Sunday we will meet at the StarBucks in the Leaside SmartCentre shopping mall just north of there (South of Eglinton, East side of Laird). The SmartCentre is the "big box" mall where the Best Buy, La Senza, LCBO, and Sobey's is. The Starbucks in on the north side.

A leisurely ride up to and around the Metro Zoo. We will not be entering the Zoo as a group.

While the pace will be relaxed, the route passes over a couple of steel mesh bridges. There are also a few narrow winding roads and steep hills, so any riders who are not comfortable on less than perfect road surfaces may decide that this ride is not for them.

Scooters should be able to maintain a constant speed of 70 kph. 50cc scooters able to maintain this speed are welcome on this ride. We will be riding on Finch Avenue and Leslie Street. Cars travel at 60 to 80 kph on these roads.
